"Cloudy Bay" & "Lake"

These two artworks portray the theme of Nubivigant in a literal way and a metaphorical way. Nubivigant’s definition is wandering through the clouds. It also has the connotation of freedom and peacefulness. My first painting, Cloudy Bay, portrays the theme, Nubivagant, because first of all, the location is high up in the mountains with the clouds. My second painting, Lake, displays the metaphorical side of Nubivigant. It uses large strokes in some places to make the space in the painting seem more spacious. In addition, the sky is cloudy yet is spread out, further displaying the theme, Nubivigant, through creating a peaceful atmosphere in the painting.
