Fallen Tree

It’s strange to see mushrooms growing from a fallen tree.
New life, even of something as odd and seemingly unimportant as a mushroom, sprouting out of something as grand and seemingly necessary as a tree.
Red wood making purple fungus,
Green leaves making brown detritus.
All flow into the next generation of life on this connected planet.
So don’t take the fallen tree for granted.
